It’s official – The Talos Principle Deluxe Edition will hit PS4 on October 13th! 🙂

This definitive version contains the original puzzler and the ambitious expansion The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna. Alongside the digital version, introspective PlayStation fans will also get a special boxed release of The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition courtesy of Nighthawk Interactive in North and South America.

We are very happy to share this news with you, as we worked very hard to bring game to PlayStation hardware in all of its glory, and by the looks on the faces of few of you who had a privilege to play it during development, I think we’ve done a good job!

While we are waiting for Gehenna, we’ve got some great news for you – The Talos Principle was nominated for 2015 Geekie Awards in video games category. Competition is awesome, with Klei leading the pack with two of their games nominated for the grand prize… This is certainly gonna be a tough one!

The 2015 Geekie Awards will be held on October 15th, 2015 at the Barker Airport Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. Keep your fingers crossed!

The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna, the sweeping expansion to our award-winning first-person puzzler The Talos Principle, will launch July 23 on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/358470).

Expansion will consist of four episodes that take experienced players through some of the most advanced and challenging puzzles yet. Players will return to a strange, hidden part of the simulation as Uriel, Elohim’s messenger, and attempt to free the souls trapped in this mysterious place.

The Talos Principle writers Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes have returned to pen the expansion and show players an entirely different side of Elohim’s world through a journey to Gehenna filled with new characters and a new society with its own history and philosophy.

It took a lot of effort to make expansion worthy of the original game, so we really hope you are gonna like it! 😉 May the words be with you!

Big milestone for our community was reached few days ago – 100.000 members!!!

We are proud to announce that The Talos Principle is now available on Google Play store on selected Nvidia powered devices – most notably new SHIELD Android TV console, SHIELD tablet and Google Nexus 9. The game is available as six episodes ($4.99 each) with an option to purchase the first episode for $4.99 and then the remaining five episodes at once with a $14.99 Season Pass.

New and intuitive touch controls really make Talos shine on touchpad devices – and if you are lucky to posses one of the above devices, you can be the judge!

We know it’s 1st of April, but you really are gonna laugh out of pure joy when we tell you that Talos Principle is 50% off (starting today till 6th of April)! But that’s not all…. we got some help from our longtime actor John J. Dick who thought Talos needed a change in attitude, so he recorded and replaced all Elohim’s quotes with his own, in an attempt to make game ‘even more serious’.

“I knew this was eventually bound to happen” said Sam “Serious” Stone when asked to comment on upcoming DLC. “It all started when they took assets from Egypt and reused them again in this new puzzler that delayed my fourth game in the series. But hell, I sound so good that all is forgiven.”

The new Serious pack also includes a new Serious player model for use in the game. The Talos Principle: Serious DLC is available on Steam for free until Tuesday, April 7th and then will be available for purchase for $2.99.

We are very excited to announce our upcoming DLC pack for The Talos Principle called Road to Gehenna. In this new story set in the world of The Talos Principle, you will take on the part of Uriel, Elohim’s messenger, as he explores a strange, hidden part of the simulation on a mission of mercy and redemption. You must free the souls of the damned – even if it requires a sacrifice.

The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna will consist of 4 episodes, and will feature hard puzzles for experienced players who climbed the Tower and were left longing for more. Our writers, Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes, have taken on the task of showing you an entirely different side of Elohim’s world. Your journey to Gehenna will not only introduce you to new characters, but to a whole new society with its own history and philosophy. We tried to press Jonas and Tom for more concrete details, but all we got were obscure philosophical statements about authenticity and the quantifying nature of the internet. 

The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna is coming to Steam this spring while The Talos Principle and the expansion pack will launch on PlayStation 4 and the Nvidia Shield platforms later this year.

Good news everybody! We’ll be attending this year’s GDC in San Francisco, where Talos Principle will be featured at IGF pavilion in Expo hall as one of the IGF finalists. As you probably know, we were nominated for 3 IGF awards – Seamus McNally Grand Prize, Excellence in Design and Audience Award – and we’d like to thank jury for this nice recognition of our hard work.
